Jack Greene passes away at the age of 83.  Click here please.   The article shows "Thursday, May 14, but it's actually "Thursday March 14" and another article shows March 15, 2013, so I am not certain of the actual date.

Jack isn't well known for Christmas Music, but is well known for Country music.  I just found out today by reading the Nancy comic, and Nancy's Aunt Fritzi always talks about Music.  She was playing music I believe in the comic strip on the anniversary of Buddy Holly's death and I think when other artists have passed away.  So, I only found out about it today.

Jack is more known for "There Goes My Everything"  Statue of a Fool" "The Last Letter" Among others, but he also did some Christmas songs
