Can anyone tell me when this was recorded? It seems to be an unreleased track that first appeared on the 2004 Ultra-Lounge: Christmas Cocktails, Part 3 compilation. But the only information I can find is in reference to the instrumental version recorded by The Ted Comstock Orchestra that was on the 1964 album Tenderly Yours (Guest Star 1417). Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Re:"I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm" - Julie London

When I tried searching for it online, the AI overview shows the folloowing:

Julie London's recording of "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm" appeared on various compilations, notably on Capitol Records' 2004 release Ultra-Lounge: Christmas Cocktails, though she didn't record a dedicated holiday album, with this track often appearing alongside other seasonal songs from her career, like the B-side to her 1957 hit "I'd Like You for Christmas".

Sorry, the black background came from when I copy and pasted.  I wasn't able to completely get rid of it but was able to change the text section to a white background with red text.

I would venture to guess that Chip may have more information.

Hi,

According to Michael Owen's book "Go Slow– The Life of Julie London", it was one of 20 tracks recorded during the Nov 1967 sessions for the 1968 release "Easy Does It". Several have apparently never been released. From the book:

"Nearly two dozen songs were taped during the sessions, enough to fill two complete albums, yet only one track, Irving Berlin’s “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm”—released in 2004 on a Christmas- themed volume in Capitol’s popular Ultra-Lounge series—has seen the light of day. It shows Julie in the type of warm, intimate session that was always her forte."

Cheers!
