Thanks Brad. As with Aimoo's notorious conversion to version 8.0.1 in 2007, there's a lot of problems, bugs and glitches. Post conversion this time will also require (by Aimoo and me) weeks, maybe even months, of tweaks, revisions and modifications. 

Sorry to hear about the technical problems. I know from LOTS of experience how difficult and frustrating that can be.

At this point it's hard to find out where this new forum is. There was a thread on FaLaLaLala where folks were upset that The Yule Log message board was gone. But I posted a link to it.

I hope things get worked out. If you need any tech help, feel free to ask.

By the way, the message board is currently only accessible under my secondary Aimoo URL. The Main URL of http://forum1.aimoo.com/theyulelog is not yet fuctional. I'm not generally publicizing the secondary URL until most of the bugs and glitches are worked out.

I noticed that "new" replies or topics aren't showing up as new or the hyperlink doesn't show as unread.  I had to physically look at the date of the topic to see that there was a new post on this thread.  Usually if I haven't read something, the color of the link for the thread is different, but all of the links appear as yellow

I reported this problem to Aimoo several days ago and they will get it fixed. In the meantime, just jump to the "Today" page to see the latest posts.

Oh OK Chip,

I was going to try and edit my previous post, but there isn't an option for that yet.  I realized that I didn't mention that the "Topic Icons" all show the Wreath and not the Christmas Tree too when there are new posts.

Yes, that will be fixed too.

What about the old Aimoo logo that looked like a smiley face?  Will that be back?

My bookmark icon for The Yule Log Forums has changed from that old Aimoo face to a non-descript and easy to miss pale  blue and white box.  I miss old Aimoo-Puss.

I don't like that new Aimoo bookmark icon either, but I wouldn't even dream of bringing it up right now as I'm fighting with them on so many things that need to get corrected since the conversion to the new system. Eventually, when they've worked out all the critical issues and restored the rest of the features, I'll mention it to them.

Where is Aimoo headquartered.  Ever since this latest "upgrade" I keep running into what looks like Chinese characters.
