I remember when WOR channel 9 used to air Mighty Joe Young on Thanksgiving day back in the 80s if can remember correctly , sadly many other holiday movie specials don’t air now , Babes in toyland , The Charlie Brown Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas specials aren’t on network tv anymore you need to have streaming services to watch them, times sure have changed, some for the better and some for the worse, I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving and are enjoying the holiday season.

TCM usually airs The March of The Wooden Soldiers (1950) or under it's original title from (1934) Babes in Toyland a few times a year.  But WPIX airs it on Thanksgiving Day.

I get my Television from YouTubeTV and have my DVR set to record it any time it comes on air.

I have seen Mighty Joe Young come up on TCM too.  There are a lot of Classic Christmas Movies that also have been on TCM  Christmas in Connecticut 1952.  Beyond Tomorrow 1940.  Carol For Another Christmas 1964.  Holiday Inn 1942.  They don't usually air White Christmas as that also airs on other networks. Another one that comes on TCM is The Lemon Drop Kid 1951 Just to name a few.
