Hello All:   Greetings from a chilly midSouth.  I saw this come up on one of my emails this week and I thought the Board might be interested.  PBS affiliates across the country (as well as YouTubeTV and others) will be showing My Music: A Classic Christmas this Saturday, November 16 ,hosted by Gavin McLeod and Marion Ross. A 4-CD set presents a whopping 100 classic Christmas hits can be obtained including tracks by the Supremes, Elvis Presley, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Robert Goulet, Peggy Lee, Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Harry Belafonte, The Miracles and others.  Several rare, archival footage for this special dating from the 1950s through the 1970s has been located and chosen for the Special. The Special's performances include Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Judy Garland, Nat King Cole, The Carpenters, Andy Williams, Rosemary Clooney, Johnny Mathis, Gene Autry, Brenda Lee, Burl Ives, Mitzi Gaynor, The Beach Boys, The Lennon Sisters, Eddy Arnold, Mahalia Jackson, The Harry Simeone Chorale, Jimmy Boyd, Jose Feliciano, David Bowie, Mitch Miller, and The Drifters, as well as an all-new performance from Ronnie Spector recreating The Ronettes’ holiday favorites.  This looks very good and the 4 CD set and/or the DVD can be obtained via PBS...several websites list the complete 100 track selection, most of which I have, just not in such a nice compact package.  Seems to be the music the Yule Log peoples all love...hope to enjoy!   Have a great weekend everyone.
