I read recently that Kylie Minogue's "X.M.A.S." knocked Wham's "Last Christmas" off the top of this year's Christmas songs chart.

Now that I'm in my 80s, it takes me a while to warm up to new Christmas songs. So I have to confess that I haven't gotten on board with "X.M.A.S." just yet. And I'm wondering if I ever will.

How about you? Do you think "X.M.A.S." has what it takes to become a pop music Christmas standard?
