This has to be the first Christmas season I can recall where very few if any holiday movies were released.  Last year we had A Christmas Carol in 3D which I went to see and IIRC there were others.  This year, the only one I heard about was The Nutcracker in 3D, which would have interested me but was in extremely limited release.

Will Christmas movies be a casualty of the Great Recession or is it only temporary?  I truly hope it is the latter!
