(For those who don't know, MST3K refers to "Mystery Science Theater 3000," a cult classic cable show where a guy and two robots make fun of bad movies. At two different times they did a Christmas-themed episode, and the movies in the subject are the ones they made fun of. Each one is kind of from a different era of its own, as the show had two different hosts and each one did one of the two Christmas shows) WXTV-41. WNJU-47.

Re:Santa Claus Conquers the Martians vs. Santa Claus (MST3K)? Date Posted:01/03/2010 12:36:40Copy HTML This is a three part response/question.
Part one, the links for Youtube, have been taken down due to terms of use violation or something. Part two. Chip, anyone, is there a sound track available for Santa Claus Conquers The Martians? I have two different DVD releases as well as a VHS that I taped of TV several years ago, but the audio and video quality are so bad that I can't even hear the complete song "Hooray for Santy Claus". I'm hoping that someone here might know if the song is available without any audio skips. Part three, I'm also curious where this movie may end up on anyone's play list/favorites? Thanks Christmas Isn't Just A Day In December, It's A Way Of Life.

Re:Santa Claus Conquers the Martians vs. Santa Claus (MST3K)? Date Posted:01/03/2010 02:17:55Copy HTML Thanks Chip,
It wasn't that great a movie and the quality left something to be desired, but I saw it growing up so it is part ofmy childhood memories. It's kinda like the old "Ed Wood" Movies, poor quality but great pieces of nostalgia. Christmas Isn't Just A Day In December, It's A Way Of Life.

Re:Santa Claus Conquers the Martians vs. Santa Claus (MST3K)? Date Posted:06/22/2010 02:11:22Copy HTML I love both the Mexican Santa Claus film and the film, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. I'm not a fan of MST3K, so I watch the films on their own and always have a lot of fun with them. The first time I saw, SCCTM, I was working second shift on a Saturday night, got home and our local PBS station was carrying it....when the opening theme began, I thought it was a joke, but quickly fell for it. As for, Santa Claus (1959 or 1960), I had heard about it for years, saw lobby cards and posters and was thrilled when I found a decent DVD release for this. I can't get anyone to watch either film with me, but that's OK, I can watch and enjoy just as easily, on my own!
