Date Posted:08/30/2018 04:19:01Copy HTML Over in the YULE LOG/HOLIDAY MUSIC category, KingofJingaling and snow miser both wrote that they enjoy trying to identify mystery tunes. Well here's one for you guys to tackle: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1n_1wDJ0auGALwpE6WnyMYgGaYHLtdrDM/view?usp=sharing I recorded that last half of the tune while it was streaming from a Brazilian radio station called Radio Soft Music. Their web page doesn't seem to have a way to display the name of the song while it's playing, or a playlist history. I've since found a website that does show what's "now playing" on that station, but I've not been able to get the playlist history to work consistently.

Re:Name That Tune! Non-Xmas Mystery Tune Date Posted:11/30/2018 04:00:54Copy HTML Sorry, but I can't ID this song specifically. It definitely sounds like library/production music, similar to stuff found in the "Ren & Stimpy Production Music" or "Music for TV Dinners" collections from years ago. Another similar collection is the "Golden Age of Light Music" series by Guild Music. You could also search APM Music's collection. I think finding this specific song will be like finding a needle in a haystack, but you would certainly would find a lot of other fun music in the process. By the way, Guild has some fantastic Christmas albums in their Light Music collection. |

Re:Name That Tune! Non-Xmas Mystery Tune Date Posted:11/30/2018 04:49:06Copy HTML I thought it could possibly be from a soundtrack, something like Santa Claus The Movie or some such. But maybe not. I definitely don't recognize it. |

Re:Name That Tune! Non-Xmas Mystery Tune Date Posted:11/30/2018 07:05:48Copy HTML I've talked about the Guild releases extensively here on the board over the years as my friend Alan Bunting did the remastering for label owner Kaikoo Lalkaka, who I also know and is a terrific guy too. For my exclusive announcement of their third CD release from 2015, click here. Lawrence F. "Chip" Arcuri
