Date Posted:09/01/2011 12:47:36Copy HTML When I came to the message board this morning, the main page is the right colors and I even noticed "Chip's"
September Salutaions Christmas in September graphic. But when I click on the stocking for the message board, everything had a white background and it only changes to green when I "mouse over" the topic that it changes to green. Even this post form is completely white . I did a screen shot and will post it here. I tried closing out my browser and come back and then even did a "refresh" and it is still white. Thanks Christmas Isn't Just A Day In December, It's A Way Of Life.

Re:Is it just me or does everyone see a white background Date Posted:09/01/2011 05:30:33Copy HTML It must be a problem that's happening on your end Susan, because I checked and everything is working fine. By the way, the page you referred to that has the 'September Salutations' on it is not the message board; it is the home page of the main Yule Log.com website. Lawrence F. "Chip" Arcuri

Re:Is it just me or does everyone see a white background Date Posted:09/01/2011 06:05:46Copy HTML Hi Chip,
It's really weird because now it is all green again like it normally is. I do understand that the page that has the "September Salutations" is a seperate entity from the message board and is on a different host/server, etc and by us clicking on the stockings on the fireplace and a few other places on the main page, brings us to the message board for the most part, and that is on Aimoo's server. I wish I could get a dang web browser that would work correctly, but every one I have tried is giving me trouble either with the graphics or missing fonts. Which I did a post about earlier this year because the Colon isn't showing up as a : on my end and from asking people on other forums it is a missing font. But for the most part, IE 8 is working the best for me. I even had to download all the different fonts and fontpacks I could find but still have trouble with the Colon not showing up correctly. Then the problem with the graphics, but that seems to have been a temporary glitch. But as you could see from the screenshot, it did have a white background except for where I had the cursor and that was green and now it OK. Yes, I had thought you had understood that the main Yule Log.com website and the Yule Log.com message board were 2 separate entities; however, in your first sentence in your opening post on the thread it clearly implied that the main page of the message board had the 'Christmas in September' icon on it. On the home page of the main Yule Log.com website, there are actually 3 links that will take you to the message board: the one for my announcement of Antenna TV broadcasting the Yule Log in 2011; the one for my announcement of the new fourth hour that I added to the program in 2009; and the stocking on the fireplace at the bottom of the page which brings you to the home page of the message board itself. I just wanted to clarify things for those who might have been confused after reading your post. Lawrence F. "Chip" Arcuri

Oh OK, I see it now and yes, it does look like I was implying that the main page of the message board was the page that had the September Salutaions Christmas in September Icon but that is on the Yule Log Home Page and not the Message Board page.
