Is there a way to make the time-stamps on the messages in the forums show as Pacific Standard Time?

To change your time zone setting, just click on your profile; after it comes up, click the edit link to the right of your username, and then scroll down the Time Zone Setting option. Voilà!

Thanks, Chip!

I hate to admit that I did look in my profile more than once but somehow managed to overlook that time setting.

I guess it's time to have my tri-focals upgraded.

Speaking of upgrading, I'm now unable to post to this forum from my other computer, ever since upgrading to the latest version of the Firefox browser yesterday.  So now I'm going to have to downgrade to an earlier version.

Argh!

P.S.  How do you indent an entire paragraph in a message?  For example, a block of quoted text?

The best thing to do is to type it in italics or with a different font type, size, color, or any combination thereof.

However, let me repost something I had said in a previous post on another thread on the board:

There used to be a 'Quote & Reply' option for members to use when filing posts, but I disabled it because it tends to cause confusion when folks are reading posts on the board -- confusion as to whose words belong to who. In addition, posting quoted text is unnecessary and redundant if the post you are responding to is the last one filed on the thread. If you want to respond to a post on a thread that is not the last one filed on that thread, then in your post just reference that person who you are responding to by name. But please don't re-post quoted text in your messages, as it is superfluous and can sometimes give the impression that the quoted words are you own.
