Date Posted:12/09/2011 07:21:30Copy HTML I recollect having watched a movie on "The Late Show" on TV back in the fifties that had a choir singing "The Holly and the Ivy" as the background music during the opening credits. But I'll be danged if I can remember the name of the movie. Does that ring any bells? Will in Seattle

The Holly and the Ivy Apparently it's only available in PAL format. But my local movie store has it: HOLLY & THE IVY (PAL)(CODE 2)In addition to movies, they also rent a variety of DVD and VHS players, including a player for PAL DVDs. Trouble is, I don't have a car, so I'd have to arrange for someone to drive me down and back two days in a row. I don't think I could manage the DVD player on the bus. Hmmm? I wonder if they would let me watch the movie at the store during a slow time of day, like early in the morning on a week day. Couldn't hurt to ask, could it? Will in Seattle
