Here is the official 2023 national Antenna TV broadcast schedule for the ORIGINAL WPIX Yule Log! It will include the Fourth and Fifth hours that I added to the program in 2009 and 2016, respectively. For the *original* announcement of my new Fourth hour added in 2009 as well as my new 50th anniversary Fifth hour added in 2016, click here and here. Re:2023 Yule Log Broadcast Schedule (National Coverage) Date Posted:11/08/2023 10:50:43Copy HTML It's been a long time since I last posted. I moved from Toms River, NJ to Conway, SC two years ago. The Yule Log is available on WBTW 13.2 from Myrtle Beach but there's one problem. I have streaming TV, not digital cable. Antenna TV broadcasts on channel 13.2 but it's not picked up by my steaming service, which means I can't view the live broadcast. Not sure what hour The Yule Log is shown at. Probably not at the same time as PIX-11 New York. I've been watching The Yule Log on YouTube. I think it's a repeat from several years ago. At least I can watch it whenever I choose. Digital subchannels from other Myrtle Beach stations are shown on my streaming service. Don't know why Antenna TV isn't. |

Re:2023 Yule Log Broadcast Schedule (National Coverage) Date Posted:11/09/2023 01:41:30Copy HTML Are you close enough to the transmitters to receive the channels OTA (Over The Air)? Where I live in Vermont, there is a mountain between my home and the transmitters on Mount Mansfield, and it blocks the digital channels. The only ones I am able to pick up with an antenna are the PBS stations as they come from across the lake in Plattsburgh, NY. When I manuallly enter the channels on my TV, there is a fluctuating signal for several stations in my area, but because of the mountain, it won't lock on them. In the Burlington, VT area, XFinity offers some of the sub-channels, but not Antenna TV. Christmas Isn't Just A Day In December, It's A Way Of Life.

Re:2023 Yule Log Broadcast Schedule (National Coverage) Date Posted:11/22/2023 06:12:47Copy HTML Sounds familiar. I've been in businesses that are probably still subscribing to digital cable. My provider, HTC, picks up Antenna TV on digital cable, but not on HTC TV MAX, their streaming service. When I first moved to Conway, SC two years ago, HTC told me that they are gradually winding down digital cable. New customers all receive two Amazon Fire Sticks, which made me a cord cutter by default. The local stations in the Myrtle Beach cover a broad area in northeastern South Carolina and southeastern North Carolina. A few neighbors have OTA antennas in their homes. The terrain is relatively flat here, so OTA reception should be OK. HTC is a regional provider, not national like Spectrum, the other major carrier in the Myrtle Beach area. High speed internet is included in my monthly HOA fee. |

Re:2023 Yule Log Broadcast Schedule (National Coverage) Date Posted:11/23/2023 02:55:29Copy HTML Will, I forgot to mention that specifically in Burlington, they also have Burlington Telecom so people have 2 digital cable providers. Being I live in a rural area about 20 miles outside of Burlilngton, I don't know anyone who subscribes to Burlington Telecom, so I can't say if they carry Antanna TV. Also there are a few Streaming TV services that are available in most areas, but they may or may not offere local channels so one would still need an antenna But agiain, if anyone lives in an area with a clear view to the transmitters, they could pick up the OTA channels and sub-channels.
