Chip,

I have been using Google Chrome, and it has Flash Player and other's built in, so I can even go to Adobe and download and install from them.  But I am not able to view the Christmas Countdown on the main page of the website.

I use Internet Explorer and Firefox and I am able to view it, but I get a lot of browser crashes, so I use Google Chrome and I don't get any crashes, but I can't see the Christmas Countdown.
I am able to see all other Flash items on other websites.

Do you have any ideas what might be wrong?  Again, everything is built in with Google Chrome.

From its inception in 2008, Google Chrome has had issues displaying the website's countdown clock. This is not an issue with my website's hosting company, Register.com; it is an issue that squarely falls upon the shoulders of Google Chrome.

The "Big two" (Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox) have never had any such issues and display the countdown clock perfectly. I have tried to work this problem out with Google Chrome, but to no avail. Thankfully, Chrome is a far distant third after I.E. and Firefox for usage by consumers; so it's really not a great concern to me. However, it would be nice if Chrome got their act together someday.

I, personally, have very little use for Google Chrome as a browser. However, I absolutely swear by Google as a search engine.

By the way, both of my hosting companies (Register.com for the main website and Aimoo for the website's message board) recommend Firefox as the preferred browser for viewing.

Thank you Chip,
I don't know why IE and Firefox always crash on me.  I have the latest versions, but Firefox always loads 2 container etc., plug-ins and a font cache something or other .exe.   So I have to use Chrome for the most part on my laptop computer.  My desktop I have to use Chrome only because the older versions of IE and Firefox won't work 100% with Windows-XP anymore.

My laptop isn't that old, 3 years, but in the computer age, that is considered a dinosaur.  So my desktop computer would be considered a fossil lol.

Thanks again.
