This version appears on the WCBS-FM 101.1: The Ultimate Christmas Album, Vol. 6 compilation CD and features revised lyrics. I'm trying to date it, but can't find any information. All I know is Harrison was at WCBS from 1980-2005. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Specifically, "sweepstakes" is changed to "lottery," "Merry Christmas" is changed to "Happy Holidays," and a reference to cigarettes has been removed completely. I guess this is a newer version he did during his tenure at WCBS, but I'm curious to know when it was recorded. Does anybody know?

So I want to say it was more or less at the time he began his stint at CBS(early 1980's) I don't believe it would be heard(revamped version) on his days with 770WABC AM since the ending on some later version has him saying ..."Happy Holidays from Harry Harrison and all of of us here at CBS FM". Currently from last I heard on radio they omit the line...."And all of us here at CBS FM"
