This could apply to you or me as we 'crate dive' for records that we love at record shows and yard sales and the like.

I helped him with some research and audio work during some of the (many years) of production (I also appear in some of the DVD extras). Mitchell is a dedicated Christmas music collector. And while his tastes are much more in the alternative vein, I think it's a great tribute to Christmas music lovers and collectors. There's an extended bit about The Free Design which might be of interest to some folks here. There's a good heart to the film overall. I caught a special screening in Portland about a month ago and really enjoyed it. It might be worth renting via iTunes or one of the other streaming services if you're interested.
